PRELIMINARY ITINERARY
(March – April, 2010)
NWNL will be documenting Uganda’s White Nile River Basin from March 26 until April 14. Hydrologic features to be documented include: White Nile River (a.k.a. Victoria Nile), Lake Victoria, Lake Kyogo, Lake Edward, Lake George, Lake Albert and the Semliki River, Kazinga Channel and Murchison Falls.
March 26–27 and April 10–14: Entebbe and Kampala: Stakeholder interviews and investigation of Lake Lake Victoria and the dams near Jinga, the source of the White Nile.
March 27 – April 10: Documentation of protected lands, species and riverine habitats of this watershed in Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth, Kibale Forest, Murchison Falls and Kidepo Valley National Parks.
